PROFILE
In 1992, I started a career in aviation, fulfilling my child's dream of becoming an airline pilot. After 25 amazing years of service in the Aviation industry, I decided take another challenge after I discovering the NDT and Rope Access world. I plunged myself back to school to achieve this new goal.
I’m a hard worker, a team player and excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill sets and professional experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND RELATED SKILLS
AIR CANADA JAZZ - Airline Pilot
June 2007, July 2017
Even though my experience consists mainly of duties unrelated to Rope Access and NDT, I bring with me 25 years of various experiences useful to any functions that are applicable to a wide range of responsibilities that I acquired during my previous employment with the airline industry. As a pilot, safety has always been at the frontline of my functions and I intend to apply the same level of care and professionalism in this new venture. Here are some parallels from my previous experiences, that I see applicable to a Rope Access Inspector:
-
Safety first.
-
Attention to details.
-
Constant rigorous training.
-
Capacities of adapting to ever-changing situations.
-
Decision-making skills.
-
Team environment.
-
Compliance of protocols and procedures, SOP.
-
Long shifts.
-
Time away and unforeseen schedule changes.
PREVIOUS WORK HISTORY = Flight Instructor, Medevac and Bush Pilot
1992-2007
My flying duties brought me in places I never thought I would end up visiting. From Gimli MB where I started as a flight instructor, to Pickle Lake where I was a bush pilot in the remote Northern Ontario reservations, to to Rankin Inlet NWT where I performed as a medevac pilot, to Churchill MB and finally Toronto where I started with the airlines. I loved every challenges and consider myself very lucky to have been exposed to all these experiences.
